Politics, music and football from a center-left perspective. Often in English since I believe in a global social democratic movement, but also due to the years as a student in Scotland, France, Italy and the US. Don’t hold my employer, or not even Liverpool FC, accountable for the views and thoughts. Enjoy!

So far away (but so fun)
The US presidential elections are still so far away, but the heat is on. The DSCC is looking for a new slogan, and since James Carville e-mailed me about it [a group mail of course] I decided to help out and vote (see below):
Eric, There is the question of what you are going to do in Sweden to counter the negative policies of the United States? Many Americans from different political poles are working very hard to neutralize the Republican threat in spite of massive corporate forces. We have to overcome the corporately controlled American media to convince other Americans to oppose Republicanism and Neo-Conservatism which is very hard. We can not do it alone without support from outside the United States. Where is a tangible international outrage from within governments? When are nations of credibility going to sanction the United States? Why haven't other countries attempted to involve themselves in reconciliation process in Iraq? Clearly America doesn't hold all the cards. Nations of credibility are just as guilty if they stand by and do nothing.
